About The Position

This is not just a support job. It's a professional role. At The Goddard School of Newark, we are building something intentional. We are a school grounded in the Reggio Emilia educational philosophy, where children learn through relationships, meaningful experiences, and thoughtfully prepared environments. Our classrooms support the whole child—socially, emotionally, cognitively, and physically—and every member of our teaching team plays a meaningful part in making that possible. If you're looking for a school where your voice matters, your thinking is valued, and your work with children and families is taken seriously—this may be the right place for you. The joy of childhood comes from those bright sparks of discovery -- moments that delight and surprise us. Your career at The Goddard School can be just as exciting. For more than 35 years, Goddard Schools have put each teacher at the heart of everything we do because teachers put each student at the heart of everything they do.
