About The Position

We are presently seeking Assistant Teachers at GPHA’s Keystone Star IV Woodland Academy Child Development Center. The Assistant Teacher cares for children under the guidance and supervision of the Lead Teacher to meet their physical, emotional, social and cognitive needs. The Assistant Teacher assists the teacher in both planning and implementing a variety of learning and program activities to meet the needs of children.

Requirements

• Child Development Associate (CDA) certificate
• High School Diploma (HSD) or General Education Development certificate (GED)
• Two (2) years' work experience related to care and development of children.
• Willingness to obtain a CDA within 1 year of employment if not already possessed.

Nice To Haves

• An Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education is preferred.
