About The Position

As an Assistant Teacher, you will assist with the implementation of age-appropriate curriculum, prepare and organize learning materials, and supervise children during all activities, including meals and naptime, to ensure a safe and positive learning environment. Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Strong Social-Emotional Skills and a Positive Discipline Mindset
  • Able to guide children with empathy, set clear boundaries with kindness, and foster a nurturing environment that encourages self-regulation and respect.
  • Developmentally Appropriate Instructional Skills
  • Understands early childhood milestones and uses engaging, hands-on methods to build foundational skills in literacy, math, and problem-solving, preparing students for kindergarten success.
  • Collaborative and Reflective Approach
  • Works well with families, colleagues, and school leadership, and is open to feedback and continuous learning to support each child’s growth and classroom community.

  • Experience working in schools is not required, as candidates from customer service, healthcare, retail, and other fields may be qualified.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the implementation of age-appropriate curriculum
