About The Position

Spring Education Group is seeking a full-time Toddler Assistant Teacher at Chesterbrook Academy in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The role involves supporting young children’s learning and development through hands-on activities, stories, art, music, movement, and play. Teachers use the school’s curriculum and lesson-planning resources while contributing their own creativity and ideas to the classroom.

The Assistant Teacher helps children develop confidence, independence, early academic skills, and friendships; builds relationships with children and communicates with families about their child’s day, growth, and milestones; and works with fellow teachers and school leaders to foster a positive, supportive classroom. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, with no nights or weekends, and pays $17.00–$19.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to balance structure, creativity, and fun in a busy preschool classroom.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Meet applicable state licensing requirements.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a licensed childcare or early learning setting is preferred but not required.
• A CDA or degree in Early Childhood Education is preferred but not required.
