About The Position

Tutor Time of Powell is hiring an Assistant Teacher to help create an engaging environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. The role supports children's daily care and learning while following licensing guidelines and company standards. Assistant Teachers maintain a clean, organized, and interactive classroom, build skills in observing and assessing children and planning for their needs, and communicate with families. The position includes extensive training on childcare, preschool, and child development topics.

Requirements

• Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
• Energetic, dependable, and passionate about working with children.

Responsibilities

• Follow licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.
• Maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
• Develop the ability to observe and assess children accurately and plan for them.
• Communicate effectively with families.
• Complete training on childcare, preschool, and child development topics.
