About The Position

Atlanta Montessori International School - Druid Hills is seeking an Assistant Primary/Preschool Teacher. The Assistant Teacher supports the implementation of age-appropriate curriculum, prepares and organizes learning materials, and supervises children during activities, meals, and naptime to help maintain a safe, positive learning environment. The role also involves helping lead learning activities that encourage children’s development, monitoring their progress, and creating a harmonious environment for children and fellow teachers. The school offers educators a supportive environment and resources to foster student learning, along with education incentives and career development programs. The position pays $16.00 to $18.00 per hour, depending on education and experience. Atlanta Montessori International School - Druid Hills is part of Endeavor Schools, which operates more than 100 schools in 14 states.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Experience in Early Childhood Education in a certified child development center.
Ability to use standard office equipment, such as a laptop computer and tablet.
Strong collaboration and communication skills, including the ability to interact with parents and other staff members.
Patience, creativity, and passion for Early Childhood education.
A nurturing attitude and sincere interest in the well-being and development of young learners.
