About The Position

CDI Head Start is seeking a friendly, competent, compassionate, and self-motivated Assistant Teacher with an interest in early education. The role supports classroom instruction by supervising students, assisting with lesson planning, preparing lesson materials, and maintaining classroom tidiness. Applicants must meet state licensing requirements. A CDA credential or a state-awarded certificate meeting or exceeding CDA requirements is the minimum qualification. Applicants enrolled in a program leading to an associate degree, bachelor's degree, or CDA credential, to be completed within two years of hire, may also be considered. Tuition assistance is provided in most cases.

Requirements

Meet state licensing requirements.
Have a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or a state-awarded certificate that meets or exceeds CDA requirements; applicants enrolled in a qualifying associate degree, bachelor's degree, or CDA program to be completed within two years of hire may also be considered.
