About The Position

We are seeking an ASSISTANT INFANT TEACHER to join our team at New Horizon Academy! This role requires availability Monday-Friday and offers an hourly wage range of $16.80 - $17.70 DOE. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 qualifying semester credits to be considered Assistant Teacher qualified under MN Rule 3. A flexible, full-time schedule, Monday-Friday, is required. We are looking for someone with a positive work ethic, a team-centered attitude, a willingness to learn and grow as an educator, and a genuine enjoyment of working with children. Previous childcare experience is preferred but not required. As an educator at New Horizon Academy, you will delight in beautifully equipped classrooms, have support and encouragement from knowledgeable staff, and be a brain-builder helping to shape the leaders of tomorrow.

Requirements

  • Can satisfy the Applicant Background Study required by state regulations.
  • Can provide proof of identity and eligibility to legally work in the United States.
  • Has the physical abilities to perform the required job duties with or without accommodations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and staff, as well as to understand state licensing regulations and company policies.
