Applicants selected for hire will be assigned to work in one of our three locations: Comal Site San Jacinto Site Lavaca Site Purpose To provide assistance to the teaching staff in a child care environment. Responsible for providing a variety of functions in support of the teaching efforts in a child care and learning environment. No Sponsorship Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer without sponsorship.

Requirements

  • High school graduation or GED.
  • Minimum of six months of experience working with young children in a licensed child care center.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer without sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on experience with children ages 0-5 years.
  • One year previous experience working with children in an accredited child care center.
  • Formal training in a child related field.
  • Stable work history.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and care for children in 0-5 years range, assist in implementing lesson plans and supervising children both indoors and outdoors.
  • Maintain a healthy and safe environment for children that complies with child licensing, health requirements and accreditation guidelines for quality care.
  • Communicate daily with parents and attend training.
  • Other related functions as assigned.
