About The Position

Guidepost Montessori is hiring an Infant Assistant Guide for its school in Kendall Park. The Assistant Guide supports a mixed-age Montessori classroom serving infants, toddlers, and children ages 3–6, helping create a calm, engaging environment where children can explore, learn, and develop at their own pace. The role includes preparing intentional learning spaces and supporting individualized and small-group activities with respect, patience, and care. The Assistant Guide helps children build confidence and independence while working with Lead Guides, colleagues, children, and families.

Requirements

• Experience working with children ages 3–6 in a school or childcare setting.
• A positive, adaptable, and collaborative mindset.
• A genuine love for working with young children.
• Interest in learning and growing within the Montessori approach.

Nice To Haves

• Prior Montessori experience is welcome but not required.

• Observe children closely to understand and support their individual needs.
• Help prepare and maintain a beautiful, orderly classroom environment.
