GA PreK Assistant Teacher
About The Position

Join our team as an Associate Universal Pre-K Teacher, where you’ll work alongside dedicated educators to create a warm, engaging environment that supports curiosity, confidence, and growth. Supporting 4- and 5-year-old children as they prepare for kindergarten, you’ll play an important role in building the early learning foundation that helps children thrive in school and beyond. Full-time and part-time positions are available with our Georgia PreK students at our Bright Horizons- Little Apron Academy location near Smyrna, GA. (working hours are from 730am-4pm).
Requirements
- Candidates must pass required state and company background checks, and meet state and company minimum education and experience requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED
- Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) for 4- and 5-year-old children is required
Nice To Haves
- 1 year of professional experience teaching in child care, daycare, or preschool settings is preferred
- Child Development Associate (CDA), associate, or bachelor’s degree in early education or related field is preferred
Responsibilities
- Support the lead teacher in planning and executing daily activities
- Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones
- Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines
