About The Position

This is a child care center role focused on helping children learn and grow. The Assistant Teacher supports the daily care of every child, maintains a fun, interactive, clean, and organized classroom, and develops skills in observing and assessing children, planning for their needs, and communicating with families. The role includes extensive training on childcare, preschool, and child development topics. Compensation is based on position, education, and experience; the listed pay range for Assistant Teachers is $18.04–$18.74. Bi-weekly and daily pay options are available.

Requirements

• Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
• Energetic, dependable, and passionate about working with children.

Responsibilities

• Follow all licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.
• Maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
• Develop the ability to accurately observe and assess children and plan for them.
• Communicate effectively with families.
• Complete training on childcare, preschool, and child development topics.
• Engage in physical activity with children indoors or outdoors.
