About The Position

The Assistant Teacher supports the daily care and development of children at Childtime on White Pond Drive. The role follows licensing guidelines and company standards, maintains a fun, interactive, clean, and organized classroom, and builds skills in observing, assessing, and planning for children and communicating with families. The position includes extensive training in childcare, preschool, and child development. Employees must be able to work indoors or outdoors and participate in physical activity with children. The work week is Monday through Friday.

• Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
• Energetic and dependable, with a passion for working with children.

Responsibilities

• Follow licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.
• Maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
• Develop the ability to observe, assess, and plan for children.

• Complete training on childcare, preschool, and child development topics.
