About The Position

The Assistant Teacher helps inspire children to become lifelong learners by supporting their daily care and learning. The role includes maintaining a fun, interactive, clean, and organized classroom; observing, assessing, and planning for children; communicating with families; and completing extensive training on childcare, preschool, and child development topics.

Requirements

• Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
• Energetic and dependable, with a passion for working with children.

Responsibilities

• Follow all licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.
• Maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
• Develop the ability to accurately observe, assess, and plan for children.
• Effectively communicate with families.
• Complete extensive training on childcare, preschool, and child development topics.
• Engage in physical activity with children, indoors or outdoors.
