About The Position

Child Development Schools and its local affiliate companies are seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Teacher to help create a nurturing environment where children can thrive. The role focuses on supporting young learners while prioritizing their safety and well-being. The Assistant Teacher collaborates with the lead teacher to plan engaging activities that promote development and builds strong partnerships with parents through open communication. The organization provides developmental education for children from six weeks to twelve years across 11 states.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Genuine empathy and understanding of children's needs and development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet community needs and respond to changing circumstances.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of working with children.

• Education in Early Childhood Education.
• Experience within a licensed center.
