About The Position

This is more than just a daycare job. It’s a journey where you learn, grow, thrive, and play every day. The Assistant Teacher helps provide daily care for children in a childcare center, supports a fun and interactive classroom, and develops skills in observing, assessing, and planning for children and communicating with families. The role includes extensive training on childcare, preschool, and child development topics.

Requirements

• Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
• Energetic and dependable, with a passion for working with children.

Responsibilities

• Follow all licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.
• Maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
• Develop the ability to accurately observe, assess, and plan for children.
• Develop the ability to effectively communicate with families.
• Complete extensive training on childcare, preschool, and child development topics.
• Engage in physical activity with children indoors or outdoors.
