About The Position

This is a child care center role focused on supporting children’s daily care, learning, and development. The Assistant Teacher helps maintain a fun, interactive, clean, and organized classroom; follows licensing guidelines and company standards; observes and assesses children; plans for their needs; communicates with families; and completes training in childcare, preschool, and child development.

Requirements

• Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
• Energetic and dependable, with a passion for working with children.

Responsibilities

• Follow all licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.
• Maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
• Develop the ability to accurately observe and assess children and plan for them.
• Communicate effectively with families.
• Complete training on childcare, preschool, and child development topics.
