About The Position
The Learning Experience is seeking a dependable Assistant Teacher to support classrooms serving infants through preschool-aged children. This role helps maintain a structured and engaging learning environment while supporting daily classroom routines alongside Lead Teachers. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with young children and contributing to a collaborative teaching team.
Requirements
- High school diploma required
- Prior childcare experience preferred
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Reliable and nurturing approach to working with children
- Monday–Friday availability required
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily classroom routines and activities
- Support learning experiences that encourage early development
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
- Guide children through transitions including meals, rest time, and learning centers
- Prepare classroom materials and support group activities
- Communicate professionally with families and team members
- Follow all state licensing and safety requirements
