About The Position
This position is for an Assistant Teacher in a Title I program for the 2026-2027 school year. The role involves supporting instruction in reading/language arts and mathematics. The position is for 187 days per school year.
Requirements
- Must possess an Associate's Degree or above; or at least 48 hours of earned college credit; or passing scores for the Work Keys test (Silver Certificate).
- Proficiency in reading and writing skills.
- Demonstrated interest in and a positive attitude toward the duties and responsibilities of an instructional assistant.
- Must pass a criminal background check as prescribed by state statute.
Responsibilities
- Assist in teaching reading/language arts and mathematics.
