About The Position

This position is for an Assistant Teacher for the Title I program for the 2026-2027 School Year, which is 187 days per school year. The role requires proficiency in reading and writing skills, and a demonstrated interest in and positive attitude toward the duties and responsibilities of an instructional assistant for teaching reading/language arts and mathematics. A criminal background check is required.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree or above; OR at least 48 hours of earned college credit; OR passing scores (Silver Certificate) for the Work Keys test for Assistant Teachers.
• Proficiency in skills of reading and writing.
• Demonstrated interest in and a positive attitude toward the duties and responsibilities required to perform as an instructional assistant for teaching reading/language arts and mathematics.
• Pass criminal background check as prescribed by state statute.
