About The Position
The Assistant Teacher/PreK - Special Education supports instruction in reading/language arts and mathematics. The position is for the remainder of the 2026–2027 school year, which is 187 days per school year.
Requirements
- Must possess an associate's degree or above, or have at least 48 hours of earned college credit, or provide passing WorkKeys test scores (Silver Certificate) for Assistant Teachers.
- Proficiency in reading and writing skills.
- Demonstrated interest in and a positive attitude toward the duties and responsibilities of an instructional assistant for teaching reading/language arts and mathematics.
- Must pass a criminal background check as prescribed by state statute.
