About The Position

Indian Creek School is an independent, co-ed day school in which 600 students age 3 to Grade 12 partner with innovative teachers in an outstanding educational program. Requirements

  • Experience in early Elementary education
  • Ability to work well with early Elementary students
  • Ability to collaborate with other teachers and assistants
  • Experience with technology, including both iPads and Microsoft products
  • Educational philosophy that aligns with the mission and vision of Indian Creek School
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate and maintain a positive relationship with an assistant teacher
  • Strong communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Create a positive and safe classroom culture and community.
  • Delivery of the curriculum through classroom teaching.
  • Ensure high-quality education and the most engaging experience for students.
  • Collaborate with the Early Elementary Team.
  • Collaborate with the lead teacher to implement the curriculum.
  • Maintain positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Maintain confidentiality with student information and records.
  • Supervise students during lunch, recess, and carpool
