About The Position
Liberty Resources is seeking a dedicated Residential (IRA) Assistant Supervisor to support our high-quality, community-based services that empower people to live fulfilling, independent lives. This role is a key leadership position within the home, supporting both the individuals served and the direct care staff. The Assistant Supervisor works closely with the Program Supervisor to ensure compassionate, person-centered care aligned with individualized plans, guiding and mentoring staff, supporting daily operations, and serving as a leader in the supervisor's absence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree with 1+ year of related experience OR High school diploma with 2+ years of relevant experience
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to transport individuals
- A commitment to compassion, professionalism, and team success
Responsibilities
- Ensure each resident receives high-quality, person-centered care aligned with their IPOP and goals
- Provide hands-on assistance with daily living needs such as hygiene, meals, mobility, and household tasks
- Promote learning, independence, and peer relationships
- Use conflict-resolution and SCIP-R techniques when needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and report progress or behavioral changes
- Assist with staff supervision, scheduling, and problem-solving
- Share on-call responsibilities to support staffing and crisis needs
