About The Position

The Assistant Supervisor, Sanitation is responsible for ensuring all departmental associates comply with EH&S policies and procedures to protect employees and minimize the organization's exposure to loss and liability. This role is accountable for ensuring all equipment is sanitary and assembled correctly before startup each morning. The Assistant Supervisor will manage hourly associates to ensure processes are in place to achieve departmental goals, such as swab failure rate, USDA NR's, and Master Sanitation. Additionally, they will actively support employee and labor relations activities to increase employee engagement.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all departmental associates are compliant with EH&S policies and procedures.
• Ensure all equipment is sanitary and assembled correctly prior to start up each morning.
• Manage hourly associates to ensure processes are in place to achieve departmental goals (swab failure rate, USDA NR’s, Master Sanitation, etc.).
• Actively support all employee and labor relations activities to increase employee engagement.
