Assistant Supervisor - Night Watch - Part Time
About The Position
New Haven is a residential treatment center dedicated to adolescents aged 14-18 and their families. With campuses in Utah's Spanish Fork and Saratoga Springs, we offer a nurturing, homely atmosphere where we blend residential treatment with advanced academics. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 21 years old or older
- Current driver's license and a good driving record
- Ability to pass a Utah State background check
- Willing to make a 8-month minimum commitment
- Willing to get Food Handlers Permit before first day of work

Responsibilities
- Assist in directing and managing the Mentors on your shift, recognizing and rewarding exceptional work.
- Delegate responsibilities to shift members as appropriate.
- Assist in providing new hires with on-shift orientation using the provided checklist.
- Keep the team informed by sharing pertinent events occurring during your shift in shift change meetings with the relieving supervisor or night staff.
- Represent your shift at the weekly interdisciplinary Treatment Team meeting when needed.
- May conduct safety drills on a quarterly basis as instructed by the Supervisor, ensuring a secure environment.
- Perform the duties of a Mentor at an exemplary level, leading by example.
- Be responsible for executing the program events calendar.
- Work collaboratively with Supervisors, leading Sunday shifts and other periods when they are unavailable, ensuring continuous care for our students.
- Assist in the distribution of medications, ensuring students receive proper care under the guidance of the Supervisor.
- Engage with our teen students in various activities, fostering their emotional and social well-being, from cultural outings to outdoor adventures.
- Prioritize the safety and well-being of our students during activities, nurturing an environment founded on trust and personal growth.
- Actively participate in the training and development of our Mentors, empowering them to deliver the highest level of care, under the Supervisor's guidance.
- Be ready to take on other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of our team and program.
