Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management or a similar field, or five years of direct experience.
  • Proven experience in managing a direct hire workforce and subcontractors.
  • Experience in construction supervision or management, with knowledge of construction processes and safety protocols.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Effective communicator who excels in building strong relationships with team members, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Proactive and solution-focused, ready to tackle challenges head-on.
  • Familiar with construction scheduling software and tools.
  • Committed to upholding high-quality standards and ensuring a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Superintendent in coordinating and supervising all on-site construction activities.
  • Monitor project schedules, ensuring deadlines are met while maintaining quality standards.
  • Manage subcontractors and vendors, ensuring adherence to plans, specifications, and safety requirements.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and project requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with the project team, providing updates and addressing concerns promptly.
  • Help resolve any on-site issues, proactively addressing challenges to minimize delays.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs and progress reports.
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment on-site, encouraging teamwork and collaboration.
