Provides administrative support for the Student Success Center and maintains a professional tutoring environment in the absence of the director. This role involves assisting with the delegation of duties to part-time staff, reporting issues to the director as needed, answering phones, directing calls, and logging students and resources in and out of systems. The Assistant also provides information on services to students, maintains the departmental website and social media, and creates, maintains, and tracks work schedules for tutors and part-time staff. Additionally, they prepare promotional materials, reports on operations, and assist in planning tours, meetings, and events. They are responsible for reporting technology or maintenance issues, maintaining supply inventory, creating requisitions, and performing budget transfers. The role includes conducting class and center presentations and assisting with the Student Resource Fair. Further duties involve maintaining records, files, and reports, entering data into the TutorTrac system, scheduling tutors and students, and assigning tutors to class visitations.
