About The Position

FIGS is seeking an Assistant Store Visual Manager for its new store in Aventura Mall. The role supports the Store Manager in store operations, visual merchandising, team development, and sales and profitability. The manager helps set up and launch the Community Hub, ensures visual merchandising plans and brand standards are executed, and helps associates deliver exceptional experiences and product knowledge to customers. The role also supports hiring, scheduling, inventory management, and a positive, productive work environment. Associates must be available to work Black Friday through the end of the holiday season, with the end date defined annually.

Requirements

At least 5 years of retail experience.
At least 2 years managing visual merchandising in high-volume retail.
Action-oriented and results-driven.
Ability to motivate others and build effective teams.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Skilled at mediating and negotiating to resolve conflict.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Passion for outstanding customer service and proven experience in retail management.
Comfortable in a fast-paced, changing environment.

Able to unpack boxes weighing 5–30 lbs.

Responsibilities

Support all aspects of initial Hub setup and launch.
Ensure FIGS visual merchandising planograms are executed for each launch.
Ensure execution of brand standards, decal and light box installation, mannequin styling, cleanliness, and organization.
Educate and train team members to deliver strong product knowledge and customer experiences.
Serve as a brand ambassador by sharing product expertise and stories, making product recommendations, and training the team.
Assist with daily operations, including opening and closing procedures.
Support the Store Manager in recruiting, training, scheduling, and developing team members.
Provide weekly feedback on product needs to the Store Manager and Director of Visual Merchandising.
Oversee inventory management, including stock replenishment and inventory accuracy.
Unpack inventory boxes as required.
Ensure safety and security procedures are followed and communicate potential issues.
Foster a positive, productive, and inspirational work environment.
Work Black Friday through the end of the holiday season, as defined annually.
