About The Position

Spring Footwear is expanding Spring Step Shoes to West Palm Beach and is hiring an Assistant Store Manager to help lead its retail location. The Assistant Store Manager partners with the Store Manager to lead daily store operations, drive sales performance, and deliver an exceptional customer experience. The role helps manage staff, merchandising, and store execution while maintaining Spring Step brand standards.

Requirements

• Strong sales and customer service skills.
• Experience with POS systems and retail operations.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and coach a team.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and climb a ladder when needed.

• 1+ year of retail leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations and team leadership.
• Drive sales performance and customer engagement.
• Coach, train, and develop store associates.
• Assist with recruiting and retaining top talent.
• Ensure visual merchandising standards are maintained.
• Support inventory management and loss prevention.
• Assist with scheduling and staffing needs.
• Deliver exceptional customer service on the sales floor.
• Act as Manager on Duty when the Store Manager is absent.
