About The Position

Store Space Self Storage is looking to hire an Assistant Store Manager to join their team. The Assistant Store Manager will serve as an invaluable member of the team by striving to build a clean, safe, and positive experience for customers. This role is directly responsible for increasing sales by converting opportunities to rentals and upselling. Daily tasks include caring for the facility, inside and out, as well as collections, deposits, and responding to customer inquiries. Leading by example and demonstrating CORE values, the Assistant Store Manager will directly impact the company's growth and success. The role requires high expectations for oneself, sharpening skills, building relationships, and developing impeccable industry-specific acumen.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of customer service experience (i.e. retail sales, restaurant, front desk, site management)
  • 1+ years of customer-centered sales and collections (cold calling) experience
  • Strong computer skills and ability to learn new applications
  • Valid driver's license with access to reliable transportation
  • Able to walk/sit/stand for extended periods of time
  • Able to operate POS and other typical office machines
  • Ability to travel between multiple locations.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a leadership role or some supervisory experience is highly preferred.
  • Someone who can prioritize and multi-task independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communicator, organized, detail-oriented, diplomatic, and a team player.
