About The Position
Goodwill serving Northeast Ohio and Northwest Pennsylvania is looking for a Full-Time Assistant Store Manager to help lead one of our retail locations. Requirements
- 5+ years of retail experience
- 1+ year of supervisory or management experience
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Intermediate computer and digital skills
- Ability to motivate others and drive results in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to Goodwill's mission, culture, and continuous improvement
- Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- High school diploma or GED required
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead daily retail operations to achieve sales, production, and customer service goals
- Coach, train, and develop team members for success
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and performance management
- Motivate employees while fostering a positive, inclusive workplace culture
- Maintain merchandising, inventory, pricing, and store presentation standards
- Monitor financial performance and support budget and operational goals
- Promote donation growth and support local marketing initiatives
- Ensure a safe, clean, and organized shopping and work environment
- Enforce company policies, safety procedures, and operational standards
- Partner with Mission Services to support employee and participant development
- Assist with evaluating participant job performance and promoting workplace success
- Perform other duties as assigned
