About The Position

Turn your sales and leadership skills into real earning potential as an Assistant Manager at ORW | 4WP. Help customers find the right off-road parts and accessories while supporting your team’s sales performance and daily store operations. In this role, you’ll work closely with the Store Manager to coach employees, deliver excellent customer service, maintain inventory accuracy, and keep sales and service working together. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys developing people and helping customers customize their trucks, Jeeps, and SUVs.

Requirements

  • Retail sales experience; experience in aftermarket automotive parts, accessories, or a related industry preferred.
  • Experience coaching, training, or helping lead a sales team.
  • Knowledge of automotive parts and accessories, including vehicle compatibility and product applications.
  • Strong customer service, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple customer and operational needs.
  • Experience with inventory control, ordering, replenishment, pricing, and merchandising.
  • Familiarity with computer software, parts databases, and point-of-sale systems.
  • Ability to read and follow written instructions and work orders.
  • Valid driver’s license, subject to a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record review.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds and participate in team lifts of up to 100 pounds, with reasonable accommodation as applicable.
  • Availability to work the assigned location’s scheduled store hours.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Store Manager in leading daily store operations across sales, customer service, inventory, and service coordination.
  • Coach and motivate sales staff to meet daily and monthly goals for merchandise sales, labor sales, warranty sales, and labor efficiency.
  • Lead by example through strong product knowledge, customer service, and sales techniques.
  • Recommend additional parts and services that fit customers’ needs and vehicle applications.
  • Provide ongoing training on products, sales techniques, customer service, and company procedures.
  • Address customer concerns promptly and work with the appropriate teams to resolve issues.
  • Source parts efficiently, considering customer needs, product availability, value, and delivery timelines.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, replenishment, organization, and pricing reviews.
  • Keep the showroom, product displays, and merchandising organized and inviting.
  • Review service tickets and final invoices for accurate pricing and complete information.
  • Partner with the Service Manager to coordinate customer orders, installation needs, and service schedules.
  • Support approved store social media efforts to promote products, services, and customer builds.
  • Help ensure employees follow company policies, procedures, and safety expectations.
