About The Position
Zales is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager and help lead store operations. The role focuses on maintaining individual and team performance standards to achieve sales and profit projections, contributing to a high level of customer satisfaction, developing team members’ skills and product knowledge through training and evaluation, and assisting with recruitment and selection. The Assistant Store Manager also follows and enforces company policies and procedures and performs other operational and strategic duties. The company emphasizes integrity, diversity, teamwork, advancement, and promotion from within. Training is provided in sales techniques, product knowledge, and other skills to support career development. The role offers base pay of $16.50–$21.00 plus sales commission; the final pay rate depends on experience and qualifications. Some benefits are limited to full-time team members.
Requirements
- At least one year of retail experience; experience with a jeweler or specialty retailer is preferred.
- Knowledge of operating POS terminals and scanners and using basic computer software and hardware.
- Ability to interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, and schedule form.
- Availability to work days, nights, and weekends.
