As part of A.K.A Brands, Princess Polly has offices in Los Angeles and Australia's Gold Coast and is seeking new talent for its global team. The company is expanding its team at the Grove Pop-Up Store and is looking for motivated individuals passionate about fashion and pop culture to contribute to becoming the best shopping destination. The Assistant Store Manager is a highly motivated leader dedicated to creating exceptional customer experiences, meeting sales and metric goals, driving sales growth, and coaching associates. This role involves managing all business aspects, particularly product and inventory, in collaboration with the Store Manager. The Assistant Store Manager should lead by example, demonstrate dedication to quality, add value to the business, and be a driving force for sales opportunities to impact growth and success.

Requirements

  • 1+ year(s) of retail management experience
  • Experience in training and managing a team
  • Experience in product management (inventory and visual merch)
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work a flexible schedule
  • Capability to lift and carry boxes or bins weighing up to 20 lbs
  • Attention to detail
  • Great sense of style

Responsibilities

  • Meet individual sales and metric goals
  • Drive sales growth
  • Coach and develop associates to achieve sales goals
  • Manage all aspects of the business, especially product and inventory management in conjunction with the Store Manager
  • Demonstrate the ability to lead naturally and set a precedent for the team
