About The Position

The Assistant Store Manager supports daily store operations and partners with the Store Manager to deliver outstanding execution, develop team members, and create a safe, organized, customer-focused environment. The role includes leading assigned shifts, serving as Manager on Duty when needed, and helping ensure projects are completed accurately and on schedule. The Assistant Store Manager contributes to high-performing teams and store success in a collaborative, people-first culture that supports professional development and career growth. This is a full-time day-shift role scheduled Tuesday through Saturday, 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with Sundays and Mondays off. The listed pay range is $18.00 to $21.00 per hour, based on experience. The position involves travel between locations as scheduled and assigned, within the local pod and wider region.

Requirements

Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
Strong communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Willingness to travel between locations as scheduled and assigned, both in the local pod and the wider region.
Ability to stand and walk throughout the entire shift.
Frequently bend, stoop, kneel, squat, reach, and climb a step ladder.
Lift and carry products weighing up to 30 pounds independently and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
Safely move carts, fixtures, and merchandising equipment as needed.

Nice To Haves

Two or more years of retail, grocery, merchandising, or customer service experience.
Previous leadership or supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

Support daily store operations, including merchandising, product resets, remodels, and special projects.
Lead assigned shifts and serve as Manager on Duty when needed.
