About The Position

Fleet Repair Solutions is hiring a Day Shift Parts Assistant in Grantville, Pennsylvania, to support its medium- to heavy-duty fleet service operations. The role helps technicians obtain the parts they need for repairs and keeps the parts department organized and operating efficiently. The schedule is 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Thursday. Duties include receiving and organizing inventory, processing warranty parts and documentation, assisting with inventory records and cycle counts, and helping with trailer pickup and delivery as needed. The Parts Assistant works closely with the service team to help keep repairs on schedule and maintains safe, organized shelves, storage areas, and workspaces.

Requirements

Valid driver's license required.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Commitment to workplace safety and hazard recognition.
Ability to lift, carry, and move parts as needed.
Comfortable working independently during the shift.

Nice To Haves

Experience in heavy-duty truck, trailer, or fleet repair environments.
Parts department or inventory management experience.
CDL.
Familiarity with inventory management systems.

Responsibilities

Locate and provide technicians with the correct parts needed for repairs.
Receive, stock, and organize inventory.
Process warranty parts and related documentation.
Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure parts availability.
Help with trailer pickup and delivery as needed.
Keep shelves, storage areas, and workspaces organized and safe.
Work with the service team to help ensure repairs stay on schedule.
