About The Position

The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for maximizing donations and helping meet sales and revenue goals by leading and guiding employees to create a store environment focused on customer service and employee satisfaction. The role executes store operations within organizational guidelines and provides supervision and direction to employees in support of Goodwill-Easter Seals’ mission and values. The position oversees operational excellence, employee training and development, personnel needs, financial and business controls, reporting and communication, community involvement and education, and a safe, welcoming environment for employees and customers. The listed pay range is $55,158–$77,431 per year. The position follows an every-other-weekend rotation, has no overnight or late closing shifts, and includes limited holiday hours. GESMN retail locations are closed on New Year’s Day, Easter Sunday, Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.

Requirements

3–5 years of relevant experience required.
Ability to communicate effectively with employees and customers.
Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft applications.
Ability to work independently and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent organizational and administrative skills, with the ability to prioritize.
