About The Position

As an Assistant Store Manager, you will grow the company brand by delivering best-in-class service and bringing to life a distinctive world of adult beverages and more for customers. You will support store operations and help build a sales and service culture to expand the customer base and maximize profitability. Internally, the role is referred to as Assistant Manager and reports to the Store Manager.

Requirements

1–3 years of work experience, including 2 or more years of proven managerial or supervisory experience in a retail setting.
Experience leading, motivating, and developing a sales-focused team.
Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Physical ability, with or without accommodations, to walk, bend down repeatedly, and remain on feet for 8–10 hours a day; safely lift, load, and handle cases and pallets; climb ladders; and lift 50 pounds overhead repeatedly.
May be exposed to various outdoor weather conditions throughout the workday.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

Drive sales and deliver against key performance metrics (KPMs).
Assist in recruiting, training, and leading the store team, including ongoing development to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
Support day-to-day operations, including payroll, inventory, merchandising, and shrink.
Deliver outstanding customer service by leading by example, fostering a welcoming and knowledgeable store atmosphere, and resolving customer issues.
Help maintain vendor relationships to support store and inventory objectives.
Ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations related to alcohol sales and maintain a safe and compliant store environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
