About The Position

As an Assistant Store Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting the daily operations of a high-volume, fast-paced store, while developing your leadership skills and preparing for your next step into Store Management. Requirements

  • 1–3+ years of experience in a retail leadership role
  • Strong interest in developing into a Store Manager role
  • Proven ability to support sales performance and customer experience
  • Strong communication and coaching skills
  • Commercially aware and eager to learn
  • Organized and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
  • Passionate about fashion and retail

Responsibilities

  • Support the Store Manager in leading, coaching, and developing a team of 7–15 colleagues
  • Provide real-time feedback and coaching on the sales floor
  • Help drive a positive, high-energy team culture
  • Step in to lead the store in the absence of the Store Manager
  • Support delivery of key KPIs including sales, conversion, ATV, and UPT
  • Lead by example in customer service and selling behaviors
  • Assist in analyzing performance and executing action plans to improve results
  • Ensure strong product knowledge and visual merchandising standards
  • Support daily store operations including scheduling, inventory, and stock flow
  • Ensure smooth execution of opening/closing procedures
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and customer-ready store environment
  • Support recruitment efforts including interviews and onboarding
  • Help train and develop team members
  • Contribute to building a strong internal talent pipeline
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
  • Support loss prevention practices and inventory accuracy
  • Maintain Health & Safety standards
