About The Position

Jack Flash in Mattoon, Illinois is looking to hire a Full-Time Assistant Store Manager. This role is for someone with a passion for leading people in a challenging, fast-paced environment who would like to grow their skills at the favorite stop in their community. Jack Flash is a family-owned, growing retailer in Illinois and Missouri, founded in 1986 with one location and now has 18 locations ranging from convenience stores, truck stops, liquor stores, and car washes. They are dedicated to providing top-notch customer service, a fun environment, and fantastic products. As an Assistant Store Manager, you are an essential part of growing all aspects of our store. This career path will keep you on your toes doing a number of different tasks, but customer service and leading a team will be your top priority. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will develop a strong partnership with the Store Manager. You will be eager to aid in the coaching and training of team members on customer service and assigned tasks. You will assist in the daily paperwork, inventory control, store maintenance, and team member accountability. This role is for someone who thrives on development through hard work and staying busy.
