About The Position

Our BonLook Royalmount boutique is looking for someone like you to bring your exceptional skills and experience and join us as a Bilingual Assistant Store Manager, to fill an existing vacancy! This position is a part-time role working 20-29 hours per week. Our store is open Monday to Saturday, evening and weekend availability is required. In this role, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting operational excellence and fostering a customer-focused environment. You’ll coach and mentor staff, optimize store performance, and enhance the lives of customers in a dynamic, rewarding, and collaborative environment! Requirements

  • Bilingualism (French/English) is required to communicate on a daily basis with team members across Canada
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends
  • College degree or equivalent experience
  • 1-2 years of management or supervisory experience
  • Understanding of operations, processes, and business performance
  • Proficiency with technology and computers, including MS Office Suite
  • Proven ability to inspire, coach, and mentor a team while driving organizational goals and delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • A collaborative, adaptable, and proactive team player with a growth mindset, able to manage changing priorities effectively
  • Excellent organizational, time management and multitasking skills
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in customer service and retail preferred
  • Knowledge of optical theory and eyewear merchandise is considered an asset

Responsibilities

  • Support the Store Manager in executing overall store strategies and operations
  • Coach and mentor team members to enhance skills, knowledge, and performance, while driving results through leadership aligned with organizational goals
  • Motivate and influence team members by empowering them, creating enthusiasm, and gaining support to achieve store objectives
  • Plan, delegate, and manage team responsibilities across all areas of the business
  • Foster a positive, collaborative work environment by providing clear direction and cultivating a shared vision
  • Foster open communication through active listening and promoting a transparent, trust-based culture
  • Champion company initiatives, evaluate their effectiveness, and implement best practices to strengthen and enhance the brand
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive customer experience and creating value for every customer
  • Support store operations by performing additional duties as required
