About The Position
The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in staffing, setup, merchandising, pack-up, and teardown of a seasonal store. The role supports the overall operation of the store to help ensure maximum sales and profitability by establishing and maintaining Guest Services, developing staff, controlling expenses and shrinkage, and overseeing merchandising and inventory control.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must have a flexible schedule.
- Prior retail management experience is required.
- Must be able to stand and walk for 8 or more hours.
- Must be able to climb ladders, set up fixtures, and lift or move up to 50 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager with staffing the seasonal store.
- Support store setup, merchandising, pack-up, and teardown.
- Help operate the store to ensure maximum sales and profitability.
