Requirements

  • 1 year automotive and/or retail management experience required
  • Have a valid drivers’ license
  • Be able to handle prolonged standing and walking; lifting up to 50lbs.
  • Be able to work extended workdays, 10 – 12 hours 3 times a week, which would comprise of a minimum of 2 closing shifts per week (not including Saturday).
  • Be able to handle stressful situations and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Have analytical skills to interpret reports and information, and develop strategies.
  • Have extensive verbal communication skills required for customer and associate relations.

Nice To Haves

  • Some college or post-secondary education is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Embodies the company mission and vision statements.
  • Provides positive customer relations through personal sales skills relating to all company products and services.
  • Supervises, directs and motivates associates to execute the corporate business plan to maximize sales and profits.
  • Assist store operations manager in reviewing store P & L and asset performance to budget accountability.
  • A minimum of 75% of time spent selling and promoting all products and services to retail customers.
  • Maintains positive customer relations through developing and monitoring of associates customer service skills, personal sales, and effective handling of customer complaints.
  • Promote positive sales trends through effective training and motivation of team.
  • Effectively execute administration duties including proper company documentation.
  • Personnel Management including training, scheduling and direction of work activity.
  • Assists store operations manager with recruitment, selection and onboarding of new employees; as well as discipline and performance evaluation decisions of existing employees.
  • Inventory control including analyzing reports, identifying problems, developing and implementing plans for solutions.
  • Manage inventory levels to obtain maximum sales and profits.
  • Maintain facility to business standards including building, equipment, parking lot, and grounds
