About The Position

TrailersPlus is looking for an Assistant Store Manager (ASM) to help drive the success of our retail lot. In this role, you’ll be a key partner to the Store Manager, overseeing everything from high-stakes sales and inventory to staff development and hands-on service work. If you are organized, customer-focused, and ready to lead a team, we want to hear from you.

Requirements

High school diploma (or equivalent) and 6–12 months of related experience/training.
Ability to write reports and speak effectively with customers.
Proficiency with online computer systems and basic math (discounts, percentages, etc.).
Willingness to obtain company certification for forklifts, tractors, and welding equipment.
Ability to obtain state and city vehicle sales licenses where required.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual in Spanish is a major plus!

Responsibilities

Support the Store Manager in hitting sales goals for trailers, parts, and service labor.
Manage daily processes, including trailer inspections, inventory control, and vendor relations.
Help hire, onboard, and train a productive team. You’ll be responsible for keeping the workplace respectful, safe, and accountable.
Handle all invoicing and state-required paperwork with precision and meet reporting deadlines.
Ensure the facility and grounds are professional, clean, and organized to promote safety and security.
Act as the primary leader in the Store Manager’s absence, making critical decisions to keep the business running smoothly.
