About The Position

We are looking for a confident and people-oriented Assistant Store Manager to join our busy salon environment at Masonville Place Retail Salon. This role requires someone who is enthusiastic about beauty, can multitask, and is driven to inspire success in themselves and their team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for business and an artistic flair, with a strong focus on providing an exceptional guest experience.

Requirements

Enthusiasm for all things beauty.
At least 1 year of experience in a retail leadership role.
Ability to build rapport with guests and team members, understanding that 'The Experience is Everything'.
Evening and weekend availability.
Flexibility, self-motivation, and drive.
Excellent people and communication skills.
Superior time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and budgets.
Knowledge of computer systems including Point of Sale, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Gmail.
Ability to be a self-starter and inspire others.
Problem-solving skills, high responsibility, and reliability.

Responsibilities

Manage retail operations, including analyzing, maintaining, and improving systems and processes.
Oversee and book guest appointments.
Coach and train the sales team to achieve store sales targets, leveraging product knowledge and passion for beauty.
Ensure the salon is clean, well-stocked, and merchandised according to standards.
Oversee inventory, product ordering, and pricing, acting as the resident expert on all products.
Monitor budgets, manage payroll, and handle scheduling and cost of goods.
Provide a welcoming environment for guests and beauty consultants.
