About The Position

JD Finish Line is hiring management team members for its River Hills Mall store in Mankato, Minnesota. Assistant Store Managers and Supervisors manage daily store operations, lead and develop employees, and deliver strong customer experiences. The roles contribute to sales, profitability, operational performance, and the company’s growth in a fast-paced retail environment. Assistant Store Managers must be available to work mornings, days, and nights, including hours required to open and close the store. The role requires a minimum standard workweek of five days and averages 44 hours per week, with increased hours during peak sales periods. Supervisors must be available during opening and closing hours and have at least five days of availability; the minimum standard workweek is 30 hours. All management roles require weekend and holiday availability, punctuality, regular attendance, and reliable transportation. Employees may be asked to work at different company locations based on operational needs and career growth. The work takes place in a moderately noisy retail setting and involves prolonged standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, pulling, and potentially climbing ladders or stairs. Employees regularly lift items weighing 5–25 pounds, and sometimes more. Good vision, including color differentiation, is required. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and able to communicate, read, and write clearly in English and perform business-related mathematics. The Assistant Store Manager pay range is $16.38–$19.50 per hour, with additional bonus opportunities if store KPIs are met. The Supervisor pay rate is $14.50 per hour. Requirements

Proven experience as a Retail Store Manager or in a similar role, with a record of achieving sales targets and managing a team.
Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Passion for outstanding customer service and memorable shopping experiences.
Ability to analyze sales data, manage budgets, and make data-driven decisions.
Willingness and availability to work flexible hours, including mornings, days, nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by the role.
Proficiency in retail management software and basic computer applications.
Assistant Store Manager: open availability, including hours necessary to open and close the store; minimum standard workweek of five days; average standard workweek of 44 hours, with increased hours during peak periods.
Supervisor: availability during store opening and closing hours and availability for at least five days per week; minimum standard workweek of 30 hours.
Reliable transportation, punctuality, and regular attendance consistent with company policies.
Ability to speak English clearly, read and write English, and perform business-related mathematics.
