About The Position

The Macon R-1 School District is seeking an Assistant Softball Coach for its middle school program. The coach will help student-athletes become well-rounded individuals by fostering appreciation for discipline, character, and sportsmanship, as well as increased self-esteem. Candidates must have or be able to attain a minimum of an appropriate Missouri Substitute Teaching Certificate.

Requirements

• Must have or be able to attain a minimum of an appropriate Missouri Substitute Teaching Certificate.
• Must possess effective coaching techniques and skills.
• Must possess thorough knowledge of the rules, regulations, strategies, and techniques of the sport.
• Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with school administrators, parents, and students.
