Position Summary Basic Function Assistant to softball coach in all aspects of an Old Dominion Athletic Conference Division III women’s softball program

Requirements

• Coaching experience of at least 3 years required.
• Bachelor's degree required.

Nice To Haves

• Collegiate playing or previous collegiate or high school coaching experience of at least five years required.
• The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic and the desire to work in a Division III environment.
• Master's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the head coach in day to day operations of the team and program
• Assist in practice planning and Softball field set up
• Assist in positional instruction as defined by the head coach
• Evaluate post practice and game situations
• Assist in recruiting
• Coordinate team travel with head coach supervision
• Other related duties as assigned
