About The Position

Riverside Community Care is seeking an Assistant Site Supervisor for a full-time management role in Wakefield. This position involves providing direct support, guidance, education, advocacy, and supervision for individuals with developmental and/or cognitive disabilities. The Assistant Site Supervisor will take a leadership role for both individuals and the household, assisting individuals in living safely in the community, maintaining their health, fostering relationships, and developing independence. The role emphasizes appreciating individual uniqueness, supporting human rights, and empowering individuals to be decision-makers. In the Site Supervisor's absence, the Assistant Site Supervisor assumes responsibility for daily operations. Requirements

• Excellent communication and organizational skills required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• A minimum of three years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• At least one year of experience in residential services preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supports, guidance, education, advocacy, and supervision for individuals with developmental and/or cognitive disabilities.
• Take a leadership role for identified individuals and the household.
• Help individuals live safely in the community, maintain their physical and emotional health, foster relationships with housemates, family, and community, and develop skills to increase independence.
• Support the human rights of individuals through the development of self-worth and empowering them to become primary decision-makers.
• Offer a listening and counseling presence for individuals with questions and concerns.
• Assume responsibility for day-to-day operations of the home in the Site Supervisor's absence.
