About The Position

We are seeking a dependable and detail‑oriented Assistant Janitorial Site Manager to support the daily operations of our janitorial team. The assistant manager will help coordinate staff schedules, monitor attendance, oversee supply usage, and ensure cleaning standards are consistently met. You will also provide training, help resolve team issues, and step in to perform janitorial duties when necessary. This role supports the Janitorial Site Manager and helps ensure seamless facility operations.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a janitorial, housekeeping, or facility services role; supervisory experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning methods, safety protocols, and commercial cleaning equipment.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
• Clear and effective communication abilities.
• Commitment to providing excellent customer service.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. – We Use E‑Verify.

Nice To Haves

• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Site Manager with assigned daily janitorial duties and performing routine inspections to ensure cleaning standards are maintained.
• Supporting the distribution of cleaning supplies, tools, and equipment to staff as needed.
• Helping track inventory of cleaning products and equipment and notifying management when supplies need replenishment.
• Providing on‑the‑job coaching, orientation, and skill development for janitorial staff.
• Helping address minor conflicts or performance concerns among team members and escalating issues appropriately.
• Attending meetings, training sessions, and safety briefings as required.
• Performing janitorial tasks as needed during staff shortages, special projects, or high‑priority cleaning situations.
• Assisting with documenting attendance issues, performance observations, and operational needs for management review.
